Meet Jane!

Jane is a 4-year-old Shepherd mix weighing about 40 pounds. She's the perfect blend of gentle, loving, and loyal. Jane can be a little shy when meeting new people and may bark at strangers, but she's not aggressive – just a good watchdog looking out for her family. One of her best qualities is her sweet and affectionate nature. She loves spending time with her people, enjoys daily walks, and has a great time playing with other dogs. For a Shepherd mix, she's surprisingly calm and easygoing, making her a wonderful companion for a family looking for a steady, devoted friend. Jane's foster family's favorite thing about her is just how sweet and affectionate she is; once she trusts you, she'll be your devoted companion for life. 🐾❤️

Ideal Home

Jane has a medium energy level and would do best in a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy some playtime each day. Because she enjoys company and interaction, she is not a good candidate for being crated during a typical workday. Her compatibility with cats and children is currently unknown.

Ongoing Health

Jane is fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.

Training & Support

Jane is well-mannered on a leash and is nearly house trained, though she still benefits from regular reminders and a consistent routine. She occasionally chews on things, but it's rare and easily managed with appropriate toys and supervision. Jane gets along well with other dogs and would likely thrive with a canine companion in the home.
