SQUIRT

Meet Squirt, a charming 15-pound gentleman estimated to be around 9 years young! Squirt came to us from Yuma and has settled in wonderfully in his foster home. He's a friendly fellow who warms up to new people easily and does well with children, provided they give him his space and don't force interaction.

Ideal Home

Squirt enjoys the companionship of other dogs but is also content being the only canine in the household. He loves receiving affection and will seek it out on his own terms, often leaning in for pets when you're seated. However, he's not one for cuddling on the couch or bed and prefers to stay off furniture.

Ongoing Health

Squirt experienced some discomfort in his back in the past, but thanks to acupuncture and chiropractic care, he's now pain-free and can be picked up without issue as long as he's aware of your approach. He had a dental cleaning during his neuter. While he briefly tested positive for Valley Fever, further testing was negative, and he has shown no further symptoms.

Training & Support

Squirt is house-trained in his foster home (with a doggy door) and will need to learn a new routine in his forever home. He's not destructive when left alone and can be trusted outside of his crate for short periods. He walks nicely on a leash and is crate-trained.

Transportation

Squirt is currently located in foster care in Yuma and can be transported to a Wags-approved adopter.
