Wilson is an approximately 6-month-old Sheepdog/Shepherd mix who, despite a very difficult start to his life, has remained an incredibly sweet, loving, and playful dog. He was rescued from a situation where he spent two months tied to a tree 24/7, regardless of the weather. Thankfully, Wilson absolutely loves human attention, enjoys playing, and gets along well with kids and other dogs. He can be a bit shy initially, but once he feels safe, he blossoms into an extremely friendly, affectionate, and loyal companion. Wilson is still very much a puppy and has plenty of energy, so an active family that enjoys walks, hikes, outdoor adventures, and spending quality time together would be a fantastic match. He would especially love a home with a big yard or even acreage where he can finally run freely and enjoy the life he deserves. Older children who are able to play with him would also be a wonderful fit. After enduring so much, Wilson is eagerly seeking a forever home where he can continue to grow, feel secure, and truly become a cherished part of a family. He currently weighs 33 lbs.
