Meet Wesley! This one-year-old American Bully mix is a resilient soul with soulful amber eyes and a heart full of love to give. Wesley has a sturdy build, a velvety fawn coat, and an expressive face that will melt your heart. He may look tough, but he's pure sweetness underneath. Wesley survived gunshot trauma that caused serious injuries to his hind legs. Thankfully, his rescue team chose to perform extensive orthopedic repair, including fracture repair and hip reconstruction. He is healing beautifully and his prognosis is very good. Despite his past hardships, Wesley is incredibly affectionate. He loves belly rubs, leaning into his people, and soaking up all the attention. He enjoys lounging in the sun and calmly observing the world. His temperament is gentle, trusting, and people-focused.

Ideal Home

Wesley will need a committed adopter who understands the importance of controlled exercise and continued healing as he recovers from his surgeries.

Ongoing Health

Wesley has undergone extensive orthopedic surgery for injuries to both hind legs, including fracture repair and hip reconstruction. He is currently healing well, and his prognosis is very good with continued proper care and follow-up.
