Meet Celeste, a tiny survivor with a big heart, looking for a patient and loving forever home. This 1-year-old female Chihuahua weighs about 8 lbs and carries a story of resilience, having come from a hoarding situation with 50 other dogs. Despite her challenging start, Celeste is blossoming every day and making incredible progress.
Initially, Celeste can be a little cautious around new people, but once she feels safe and secure, she transforms into the most affectionate lap dog you could imagine! Her favorite place in the world is right by your side, enjoying cuddles and all the attention. With her sweet little face and adorable "smile," she's guaranteed to bring joy to her forever family.
Celeste finds comfort in the company of other dogs and would truly thrive in a home with at least one canine sibling. While she's gaining confidence and starting to explore more independently, other dogs remain a constant source of reassurance for her. She's also content to quietly observe her surroundings or snuggle up with her doggie friends.
Ideal Home
Celeste will do best in a quiet and patient home environment where her humans understand shy dogs and will give her the time she needs to continue her journey of blossoming. Because sudden movements and loud environments can still be startling for her, a home without small children would be ideal.

Training & Support
Celeste is house-trained and, while she is gaining confidence, still takes comfort from other dogs. She will need continued patience and positive reinforcement as she settles into her new home.
