Zuko is a 1-year-old Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull mix who is full of life and ready to be your best friend! He's an affectionate, confident, and endlessly entertaining companion who thrives when surrounded by people and other dogs. Zuko has a heart of gold and greets every day with enthusiasm, whether he's out for a run with his foster mom or playing with his doggy pals. He's already house and crate trained, knows multiple commands, and loves to learn. Zuko has even shown impressive manners around the rabbits in his foster home, demonstrating his adaptability and gentle nature.
Ideal Home
Zuko would love an active family that enjoys including their dog in daily adventures, walks, outings, training sessions, and plenty of opportunities for play. Apartment living has proven successful for him, provided he receives enough exercise, enrichment, and social interaction. A home without cats would be ideal, as he can be a bit overwhelming for them. He would also do best in a home with dogs over 25 pounds who enjoy active, robust play.
Ongoing Health
Zuko is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention. He has also been spayed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Zuko is a well-trained young dog with a solid foundation of manners. He enjoys learning and takes pride in getting things right. While he's social and resilient, he can sometimes be pushy during play and may need gentle reminders about respecting other dogs' boundaries. A confident adult dog in the home could be a great mentor for Zuko, helping him learn when to take a breather.
