Meet Raider!

Raider is an approximately 4-year-old Belgian Shepherd weighing 72 pounds. He's smart, energetic, loyal, and always ready for action. Raider was found as a stray and taken in by a Good Samaritan, but his enthusiasm for chasing cats meant he wasn't the right fit for their home. He was then brought to ACCT Philly and quickly transferred to our rescue.

Raider is a handsome, athletic dog with a big personality and plenty of energy to spare. He is social, friendly, and eager to engage with people. He follows cues well and is clearly a smart dog who wants to learn. Like many dogs of his breed, he needs guidance, structure, and an outlet for both his physical and mental energy. Our volunteers have already begun working with him on his manners, and he's making great progress.

Ideal Home

Raider can get excited and may jump up when greeting people, so he would do best in a home with older children or adults who can continue his training. Raider is looking for a cat-free home. He is looking for a breed-experienced home that understands the needs of a Belgian Shepherd and is ready to help him become the best version of himself.

Ongoing Health

Raider will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and 4dx tested.

Training & Support

Raider can get excited and may jump up when greeting people. Our volunteers have already begun working with him on his manners, and he's making great progress. He needs guidance, structure, and an outlet for both his physical and mental energy.
