Enzo Baby the Loyal Little Prince

Enzo Baby is a 5-month-old, 37 lb bundle of sweetness and loyalty, believed to be a German Shepherd mix with a hint of hound in his lineage. His exceptionally soft fur, floppy ears, and oversized paws are just the beginning of his charm. Enzo is a gentle soul who thrives on companionship, wanting to be by his people's side for every adventure, big or small. He's described as a "little shadow" by his foster, content to follow you around the house, snooze at your feet, or curl up with you at bedtime. He's also a big fan of other dogs and has shown he can be respectful around cats, making him a potential pack member for many households.

Ideal Home

Enzo would be happiest in a home with a friendly canine companion, as he truly shines when he has doggy friends. He is also comfortable around cats. Enzo's calm demeanor means he could thrive in various living situations, including an apartment, condo, or a house with a backyard.

Ongoing Health

Enzo is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Enzo is a smart cookie and has already mastered sitting, is crate trained, and potty trained. He has wonderful house manners and walks nicely on a leash, with his love for treats making training a fun and rewarding experience. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with continued socialization, structure, and routine, he is expected to blossom into an even more confident companion.

Transportation

Enzo is currently in Texas but can be transported nationwide via our rescue-run, USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pickup options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). A $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
