Norma Jeane is an approximately 8-year-old, 10lb poodle with a playful and spunky personality! She's a lively gal who absolutely lives for a game of fetch. Her ideal day would involve chasing a ball non-stop, with short naps in between. She's wonderful with people, especially young children who are respectful of dogs. Norma is very sweet and attentive to her human companions, but she's not a cuddler; she prefers to play or enjoy her independence. If you're seeking an active and fun-loving sidekick, Norma Jeane is your girl! She has a medium energy level and enjoys accompanying her people, but her favorite time is spent indoors with a ball. Norma doesn't exhibit separation anxiety and is non-destructive when left to roam. She gets along well with other dogs, especially laid-back ones, but would also be content as the sole canine in the household.
Ideal Home
An adopter who is committed to playing fetch at least four times a day is required. Norma is looking for a best friend to share life's adventures with.
Ongoing Health
Norma Jeane has successfully completed heartworm treatment. She was not spayed prior to treatment due to the priority of her heartworm care, but arrangements will be made for her spay surgery before she leaves the rescue.
Training & Support
Norma Jeane is not 100% potty trained. While she will go outside if a back door is left open, she may have accidents inside if not closely supervised. She is reliably potty trained when crated and never has accidents in her crate, making it a good option when unsupervised.

Transportation
All our dogs are fostered in Houston, TX. We work with trusted transport partners to move our dogs to over 30 cities across the United States. Adopters are also welcome to pick up their new companion in Houston. Our team will coordinate the best transport schedule with you once an adoption is confirmed.
