Meet Roo! This handsome boy is a delightful mix of German Shepherd Dog, Catahoula Leopard Dog, American Pit Bull Terrier, and Border Collie. Born around December 5, 2025, Roo is already showing his smarts and loving nature. He arrived with his seven siblings from Yakima and is sure to grow into a substantial and loyal companion, likely weighing at least 50 lbs when fully grown. Roo is a curious and food-motivated pup who loves to snuggle up after playtime and adventures. He's doing wonderfully with crate training, potty training, and leash walking, and his intelligence makes him a joy to train.

Ideal Home

Roo would do well as a solo pup or with another dog who can match his puppy energy. He has also shown to be great with cats!

Ongoing Health

Roo is a young pup and will require ongoing training for all the usual puppy milestones.

Training & Support

Roo is incredibly intelligent and learns quickly! He already knows "sit," "down," "touch," and "stay" very well, with his "touch" command being so strong that he'll come running from another room. Because he's so smart, he can get bored easily, so he'd thrive with a family committed to continuing his training and providing him with mental stimulation.
