Calliope

Calliope is one of the sweetest girls you'll ever meet! This lovable lady has never met a stranger and is happiest when she's surrounded by people who are willing to give her plenty of love and attention. Whether she's making new friends or quietly relaxing nearby, Calliope is content just being near her favorite humans. She has a nice medium energy level, happy to enjoy some playtime but just as content to kick back and keep you company. We think she would do well with children and would likely enjoy having another dog as a companion.

Ideal Home

Calliope would do well with children and would likely enjoy having another dog as a companion. She will need a calm home where she can take it easy while she heals from heartworm treatment.

Ongoing Health

Calliope is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease. The good news is that the shelter will cover the cost of her treatment, so all she needs is a loving family willing to help her through her recovery.

Training & Support

House training is unknown, as most of our dogs arrive as strays, so we cannot guarantee they are house trained.
