Ongoing Health

Tootsie's health is a top priority. Before adoption, she will be up-to-date on all necessary vaccinations, including those for Parvovirus, Distemper, Adenovirus, and Parainfluenza. She will also be vaccinated against Bordetella and Leptospirosis, and if over 5 months, against Rabies. For adult dogs, a comprehensive test for Heartworm, Lyme's disease, Anaplasmosis, and Ehrlichiosis is performed, along with a full panel blood test. She is micro-chipped with free lifetime registration and has been dewormed. Tootsie will also receive treatment for fleas and ticks. She will be spayed or neutered before going to her new home, and her nails will be trimmed.
