Meet Popi, a truly remarkable pup who is as happy as she is resilient! She was found abandoned on a rooftop in Jarretaderas with two other dogs. Thankfully, a Nayarit animal welfare officer rescued them and brought them to safety, where Popi finally received the much-needed vet care and nourishment she deserved. Since joining our shelter, she's been beaming with joy and gratitude, her smile a constant reminder of her journey.
Popi is an incredibly friendly and social girl who absolutely adores attention. She's learning the ropes of leash walking and is eager to bring her cheerful disposition to a home where she'll never be overlooked again. She's ready for the love and stability she's always deserved.

Transportation
Popi is currently located in Puerto Vallarta. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. If Canadian flight companions are unavailable during May and June, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border. We have successfully facilitated many adoptions with volunteers helping to bring dogs to adopters at the border, which remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward.
