Hi… I’m Lita! I’m about 5 years old, a petite 14 lbs., and I’m a very good girl. I’m what they call a “velcro pug.” That means wherever you go… I go. Kitchen? I’m there. Living room? Already waiting. Bathroom? I’ll supervise. I’m very sweet, calm, and affectionate. I don’t really care about toys (although I did try one recently… briefly… we’ll see). What I really love is being close to my person. I get along with everyone: dogs? Yes. Cats? Don’t bother me. Humans? My favorite! My perfect day: Wake up, check on my human, follow them around, relax on something soft, eat my meals, supervise the house, and end the day curled up right next to you. It’s a simple life. I’m a simple girl. I’m really good at loving my person, being calm and easy in the house, following you everywhere (expert level), getting along with other pets, and having excellent manners. I’m still working on learning the dog door (I’m getting it!), deciding if toys are worth my time, and letting my skin fully heal so I can show off my glow-up. I’ve had zero potty accidents and I’m doing great.

Someone who wants a constant companion. Someone who doesn’t mind a little shadow. Someone who wants a calm, loving dog who just wants to be close. If you’ve been looking for a sweet, loyal, no-drama kind of girl… I’ve been looking for you too. I’m not a high-energy, playful dog. I prefer people over toys or independent play. I will want to be near you… a lot.
Ongoing Health
I’m spayed, heartworm negative, and I recently had a little surgery to help me breathe better (big upgrade, highly recommend). I’m also being treated for a skin condition called demodex, which is already getting better and my hair will keep improving as I heal.
