About Buddy

Buddy recently lost his beloved elderly dad and is now searching for someone to share the rest of his life with. This sweet senior gentleman has officially entered his "let's take a nap and lounge around together" era and is looking for a family who appreciates the simple joys in life. Buddy is a laid-back, easygoing companion who is happiest relaxing by your side, soaking up affection, and enjoying a peaceful home. While he arrived in rescue care quite overweight, he has already started his weight-loss journey and is making great progress. He likely still has about 30 pounds to lose before he'll be at a healthier, more comfortable weight, and he would love a family committed to helping him continue that journey so he can enjoy his golden years to the fullest. One of Buddy's best qualities is that he truly loves everyone. He gets along wonderfully with people of all ages, is cat-friendly, and enjoys the company of other dogs. His gentle, easygoing nature makes him a fantastic addition to just about any home. If you're looking for a loyal companion to share quiet evenings, lazy afternoons, and unconditional love, Buddy may be your perfect match.
