Zanaree

Meet Zanaree! This sweet girl is a patient pup who has been waiting a little longer than most to find her forever family. Zanaree is a busy girl who is incredibly entertaining on her own, especially with a squeaky plush toy! She loves to fling, chase, and repeat! Zanaree is also very affectionate and loves to give kisses, sit between your legs, and roll over for pets. She enjoys chewing on Nylabones and cow hooves.

Zanaree absolutely loves spending time outdoors, taking in all the sights and smells. While she can be active indoors, she also enjoys lounging in the yard. She's a smart cookie who thrives on treats and already knows "sit" and "down." Her foster family is working on "stay" and "shake" with her. Zanaree is curious and energetic, always ready for an adventure. She's a great traveler in the car and the perfect size to take along anywhere!

While Zanaree was initially reserved around new people, she has blossomed in her foster home and is now confident and friendly, readily asking for belly rubs and head scratches. She recently attended a baseball game and loved the attention from everyone who stopped to pet her. Zanaree does well in her kennel overnight.

Ideal Home

Zanaree has done well meeting school-age children and enjoys their attention. However, she may be best suited for a home with older children who understand when she needs her space, as she can be a bit bouncy for very young kids. A mature home would likely be her best fit.

Ongoing Health

Zanaree has been spayed and is current on her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Zanaree is a smart girl who already knows "sit" and "down" and is learning "stay" and "shake." She enjoys positive reinforcement with treats.
