About Champion-Bred Golden Retriever Puppies | Health-Tested

Our Golden Retriever puppies are bred with purpose, health, and beauty in mind. Both parents come from outstanding lines that combine classic American charm with the elegance of European bloodlines. They are fully health tested, including advanced OFA certifications (hips, elbows, heart, and eyes) and comprehensive genetic panels to ensure they are clear of all breed-relevant conditions. These dogs are not just beautiful — they are structurally sound, genetically healthy, and temperamentally exceptional. Each puppy receives a nose-to-tail veterinary examination, is microchipped, and comes registered. Puppies are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and dewormings and raised with dedicated care to give them the very best start in life. Whether you’re looking for a loyal companion or a future competitor, our puppies represent the best of the Golden Retriever breed: health, pedigree, and heart.

Meet Four Lochs. *** IF YOU SEND A MESSAGE THROUGH THE AKC WEBSITE, MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR PHONE NUMBER *** As a conscientious breeder of Golden Retrievers registered with the AKC, I am deeply committed to upholding the highest standards in breeding practices, prioritizing both temperament and health. Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Northern Virginia's horse country, our breeding program operates within a nurturing environment where our dogs roam freely across the expansive farm, becoming cherished members of our family. Each dog under our care is celebrated for its individuality and affectionate nature. Our dedication to responsible breeding commences with a steadfast focus on nurturing temperament and ensuring optimal health, recognizing that a Golden Retriever's disposition is pivotal to its role as a cherished companion. The well-being of our dogs is paramount. Prior to any breeding, we meticulously conduct advanced Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) tests on the parent dogs. Furthermore, we perform comprehensive genetic testing to identify and address potential hereditary concerns, underscoring our commitment to the long-term health of our breeding lines. Additionally, we proudly integrate European bloodlines into our program, enriching the genetic diversity and overall vitality of our dogs. Through our rigorous genetic testing protocols, we screen for conditions such as Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Ichthyosis (ICH), Ichthyosis Type 2 (ICH2), as well as various forms of Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), including GR-PRA1, GR-PRA2, and PRA-PRCD, along with Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL). This meticulous screening ensures that each new addition to your family arrives with the best possible health prospects, providing you with a companion that you can cherish for years to come.
