Avi may have started with a big name, but this sweet boy is all heart and gentleness. "Avalanche" suggests something loud and powerful - but Avi is steady, thoughtful, and kind.

His personality truly speaks volumes. He's easy to leash up and greets everyone with a wagging tail. He loves having his face scratched and remains calm and steady in new situations. During a shelter photo session, he handled everything like a pro - relaxed, affectionate, and happy to connect with the people around him.

Avi has a playful side too. He showed curious interest in a squeaker toy, engaged appropriately, and then settled himself right back into his kennel without fuss. That ability to play and then self-regulate tells us he's a smart, balanced boy.

He also participated in a meet and greet with another dog. He initially came in excited and briefly startled the other dog, but when corrected, he immediately backed off and respected boundaries. When play wasn't reciprocated, he adjusted appropriately. Avee responds well to communication and shows great social awareness with other dogs.
