Ranger

Ranger is a handsome 65 lb, 8-year-old purebred English Setter with a trained hunting background. He's strong, athletic, and was used to a rural lifestyle filled with outdoor activities. Ranger is not a kennel dog and needs to live inside with his family. He previously lived with an owner who developed Alzheimer's, leading to Ranger moving to the city with his family, who have been caring for him. His current owner can no longer keep him, so he's looking for a loving forever home.

Ideal Home

Ranger would thrive in a home where he can be indoors with his people and receive about an hour of regular exercise daily. If he could continue with activities like hunting or fishing, he would absolutely love that!

Ongoing Health

Ranger will be neutered before adoption. He is completely housetrained and does not have accidents indoors.

Training & Support

Ranger is not leash-trained but could learn with some guidance. He is very smart and sweet once he gets to know you, though he can be a bit reserved initially. He loves being outdoors and going for walks; he gets restless if he's inside for too long.
