Sunnie D is looking for a home that embraces her happy, playful, and teachable spirit. She thrives on canine companionship and absolutely needs a dog friend to bounce around with. While she's a big fan of children and loves to play, her puppy exuberance can sometimes lead to mouthiness when excited. She's a quick learner and will do best in a home ready to guide her with structured play and positive redirection. If you have a cat, Sunnie D will need clear boundaries and consistent guidance to learn respectful behavior around your feline friend, though she will be perfectly content with just a doggie pal.
Ongoing Health
Sunnie D is a healthy young pup. All vetting is up to date, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. She has also been spayed and heartworm tested.
Training & Support
Sunnie D is an eager beaver who takes correction and direction well, showing great potential for quick improvement. She will benefit from a family who can teach her good manners through structured play, redirecting her enthusiasm to toys, and engaging in basic training games. She is already working on crate training, potty training, and leash walking with her foster family.

Transportation
Sunnie D is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). An $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
