Elsa is a sweet girl who had a rough start in life and wasn't well-socialized to humans before coming to our rescue. She's been doted on 24/7 during her foster stay and is thriving, but she's still learning to trust sudden movements and unfamiliar affection. Elsa has formed a special bond with one person in her foster home and will likely find a favorite person in her new family. She takes her cues from other dogs, including when to eat and go outside. While she's not a big fan of group play, she loves to relax with her chew toys and is incredibly fond of cuddles. Elsa is already potty-trained and is a very good girl in her kennel. Her favorite spot to relax is on the bed or couch, and she reliably settles in her kennel at bedtime. She is excellent with small animals and children, giving them plenty of space and attention.
Ideal Home
Elsa would thrive in a home where she can continue to build her confidence and learn to trust her people. She does well with other dogs and is great with kids and small animals.
Ongoing Health
No specific health concerns were mentioned in her listing.
Training & Support
Elsa is potty-trained and does well in her kennel. She is still learning to trust unfamiliar people and sudden movements, so patience and a gentle approach will be key. She relies on other dogs for behavioral cues, so a confident, well-adjusted dog in the home could be a great mentor for her.
