Plum is a 2-year-old, 35lb Aussie x Heeler mix who is bursting with intelligence, drive, and enthusiasm for life! Months in a kennel have taken a toll, but Plum's bright spirit shines through. She is incredibly dog-social, loving rough-and-tumble play, though she can be a bit much for more sensitive canine companions. Plum thrives on activity, engagement, and having an outlet for her physical energy and her busy Heeler brain. She is spayed and heartworm negative.

Ideal Home

Plum is looking for an adult-only home or a home with older, dog-savvy teens due to her herding instincts and tendency to nip. She would not be a good fit for homes with cats or other small animals.

Plum is very smart and highly trainable, but she is struggling with under-stimulation in the stressful shelter environment.
