Shaggy

Meet Shaggy! This sweet, medium-sized boy came to us with his companions Paloma and Scooby after their owner in San José sadly passed away. While Shaggy is understandably cautious as he adjusts to his new reality and learns to trust again, he's a playful boy at heart who is trying his very best. He has a thick coat and would thrive in a cooler environment, as Mexico is too warm for him. Shaggy is neutered and deserves a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and begin to heal from his big loss.

Training & Support

Shaggy is understandably cautious and is working on rebuilding trust. He would benefit from a patient adopter who can show him he is safe.

• We will review your application and may contact you for more info or a home check.
• Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home.

Transportation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters in the US and Canada are matched with flight companions. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.
