Heddo! My name is Cade, and I also respond to "Big Stinky!" I'm a 5-year-old, 90-pound American Bulldog who has been patiently waiting for my forever home for four years. I was rescued by Samson's Sanctuary after being found abandoned in Azusa, CA, in April 2022. Despite my size, I have a heart full of love and truly enjoy lounging on the couch with my belly exposed – it's my favorite way to relax! While I can be a little cautious around new men, needing a little extra time to warm up, once I trust someone, I'm fiercely loyal. I love adventures, especially hiking and playing in water. I enjoy taking my time on walks, sniffing out new scents, and proudly parading my latest stick-trophy. I'm independent but love companionship, and while I don't need to be in the same room all the time, I do enjoy resting my head on your lap for some pets.
Ideal Home
Cade would love a patient and caring family who understands his needs. Previous American Bulldog experience would be a huge plus! He gets along well with other dogs his size and smaller, as long as they are friendly, but he does tend to chase cats, so a feline-free home would be best. He has been around a baby in his foster home and was very gentle and listened well. He would also love a yard for zoomies, but is happy to go to the park for exercise.

Training & Support
Cade is very food motivated and eager to please! He is a smart boy who learns quickly and is always up for a training session. He is e-collar trained, muzzle trained, and knows multiple commands. He is also a great guard dog and will alert you when someone is at the door. He enjoys squeaky toys, tug of war, bones, and frozen treats.

Transportation
Cade is currently in Los Angeles, CA. We have successfully placed dogs in out-of-area, state, and even international homes. Approved applicants are typically required to travel to Los Angeles to meet and pick up their new dog, often making it a fun road trip!
