Duke's ideal home would be with a semi-active family that wants a dog to truly be part of everyday life and appreciates a BIG personality in the home. A backyard is definitely important for this guy because he needs space to zoom around, play, burn energy, and occasionally perform one of his famous concerts for the neighborhood. Because Duke is so people-oriented and loves being involved in what his humans are doing, he would do best in a home where he isn't left alone for super long stretches on a regular basis. Apartment life probably is not the best fit for this guy simply because his vocal talents are pretty impressive.
