About Holly The Best Family Dog
Holly could write her own job title: Professional Toy Collector + Zoomie Specialist + Booty-Scratch Enthusiast. Ask her about her hobbies and she would say foodie! She is sunshine with a bunny hop, toy-loving, giggle-generator, kid-loving, belly-flopping girl with a happy energy that makes everyday better and everyone smile.
Holly is estimated to be just shy of 4 years old, weighs 60 lbs, and is likely a pittie/staffie mix. She is wiggly, affectionate, and truly lights up for people. Holly has a solid head start on basics like sit and come, and she even knows drop it. She loves to grab her beloved stuffies and settle in to happily gnaw on them. In the evenings, Holly naturally winds down and joins everyone on the couch to watch TV, loving to be close to her people. She is not demanding; she just enjoys being included and will bounce from person to person to see who is available for cuddles.
Holly lives in a busy household with four children ages 3, 5, 12, and 14, and does fantastic with all of them. She also lives with a 17-year-old with special needs (Down syndrome and autism) and shows wonderful patience and acceptance of energy, movement, and louder sounds. She handles the environment with ease and never showed concern. Holly is crate trained and will go into her crate when asked. She rides beautifully in the car and handles routine changes well, making her an easy companion. Food is a favorite topic for Holly, and she loves her treats, taking them very gently.
Holly is social and confident with other dogs. She is mindful and respectful when they do not want to play and does a nice job sharing space. She reads other dogs well and adjusts her behavior appropriately. Holly would also really enjoy a friend she can play with, and her best playmates are ones who can match or at least appreciate her rowdy, happy, bouncy play style. She is consistently reliable when meeting new dogs, and whether it's an on-leash greeting or being dropped into a playgroup, Holly is confident and keeps things fun. If joining a home with another dog, Holly will bring the party, as long as her new buddy speaks bounce fluently.
Holly's love of toys cannot be overstated. She is going to trot around with any toy she receives, looking as goofy and happy as possible. Her signature move on a sunny day is what we call a "happy-flop": she'll fetch her favorite stick or rubber toy, plop it down like it's precious cargo, then dramatically roll all over it in the grass, belly to the sky, with a huge pittie smile on her face.
Holly has a solid head start on her basics like sit, come, and drop it, and she has good leash manners. She is a sturdy walker and respects her handler when expectations are clear. Holly is easy to live with, settles into home life quickly, enjoys routine, and genuinely wants to be part of a family.
Ideal Home
Holly would be a wonderful match for a family with children, a retired couple who has visiting grandkids, a young couple planning for the future, a social household with visitors, or anyone looking for a steady, affectionate companion.

Holly has no known ongoing health conditions. All vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, has been completed.
