Porter (Milwaukee, Oregon)

Porter is a handsome six-year-old boy with a big heart and a story to match. He lived a life on the go with his beloved owner, experiencing life on the streets, in tents, and in cars. After his owner's passing, Porter was found and brought to safety by a relative. He's now in a home environment and is ready to find a new best friend. Porter is friendly with people and gets along well with other dogs, though his play style can be a bit enthusiastic. He takes correction from other dogs well, showing he's a good sport!

Ideal Home

Porter would thrive in a home where someone is present most of the time, as he may experience some separation anxiety. His previous life meant constant companionship, so a patient and understanding adopter will be key to his adjustment.

Ongoing Health

Porter will need to be fully vetted. We are looking for a foster home that can help with this process until he is ready for a permanent adoption.
