Susie

Susie is the definition of easygoing, with a calm, adaptable nature that makes her a pleasure to be around. Found alone in a yard, she quickly won over staff and volunteers with her affectionate personality, gentle manners, and friendly demeanor with both people and other animals. Whether she's taking a leisurely walk or relaxing by your side, Susie approaches life with a steady, loving spirit. She recently required emergency care after developing pneumonia, which left her struggling to breathe and feeling unwell. She received oxygen therapy, IV antibiotics, fluids, chest X-rays, and other supportive care. The good news is that Susie responded well to her treatments and is now back at SCI Chester, where her personality is shining brighter every day as she continues to recover. She has started her prison training program and is accepting adoption applications now!

Ideal Home

Susie is friendly with other animals, and her interactions with children are unknown.
