Meet Misty! This 2-year-old, 55-pound Great Pyrenees mix has a heart as soft as her fluffy coat. Misty is a bit on the shy side at first, but once she warms up to you, she's pure sweetness. She's a polite co-exist-er with cats and makes friends with other dogs easily. Misty would likely do best with children who are past the energetic toddler stage. She's a gentle soul looking for a family to share her quiet affection with.

Ideal Home

Misty would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, which is a non-negotiable requirement. She's looking for a family who appreciates a calm companion and can offer her kindness, patience, and time to truly bloom. A comfy sofa to relax on would be a wonderful bonus!

Ongoing Health

Misty has a mildly collapsing trachea. While this might sound concerning, it simply means she cannot use a collar with a leash. A chest-type harness is essential for her safety and comfort and will be needed for life. With the correct harness, this condition is not a significant issue, aside from an occasional cough if the harness is not fitted correctly.

Training & Support

Misty is a well-behaved dog who generally coexists politely with other animals. Her shy nature means she needs a patient family to help her feel secure and confident in her new environment.
