Mooshu (Please Read My Story)

Mooshu is a 10-year-old legend looking for his perfect human! He had a bit of a rocky start, being allowed to do as he pleased as a puppy, which unfortunately led to him becoming overwhelmed in busy households. He's now a bit particular about who he trusts, but with a little patience and some hot dog treats, he's sure to warm up to you. Mooshu would thrive in a calm, quiet home with a single female who enjoys laid-back evenings. He would also appreciate a dedicated "safe space," like a comfortable crate, to retreat to when guests are over. Due to his upbringing, he's not comfortable sharing his home with other animals and would prefer to be your one and only furry companion.

Ideal Home

Mooshu would do best in a home with a single, laid-back female adopter. He needs a calm environment and would prefer to not share his home with other animals. A designated safe space, such as a crate in the owner's room, is also recommended for when the owner has visitors.

Ongoing Health

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months), are current on vaccinations, preventatives, and micro-chipped. All dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Training & Support

Mooshu needs patience and understanding due to his past lack of boundaries and training. He is selective with trust and may require "date nights" with potential adopters to build comfort. He is not socialized with other dogs and therefore needs guidance on appropriate social skills if any new animals were to be introduced (though he prefers to be the only pet).
