Nikko

Nikko is a charming 9-year-old, 60 lb. gentleman who joined us as a stray and quickly captured our hearts with his sweet disposition. He's a big fan of everyone, including other dogs (after a proper introduction) and children. Nikko knows "sit" and "down," loves his walks, and is a true road trip enthusiast! He's also a master of cuddling and will happily join you on the couch if invited.

Ideal Home

Nikko would thrive in an active home where he can enjoy hikes and adventures. While he enjoys company, he's also content to relax by your side.

Ongoing Health

Nikko is currently a bit underweight, and we're working on helping him gain a few pounds with a balanced diet.

Training & Support

Nikko is house-trained and crate-trained. He's great at playing fetch, though he's still learning to bring the ball all the way back. He's making good progress on his leash manners, especially with a harness, but can still pull a bit when excited by other dogs or people. He enjoys a good morning walk. When in the car, it's best to keep the back windows only partially open and ensure he's buckled in.
