Meet Sioux, a gentle giant with a heart of gold and a true lap-dog soul! Sioux might be a big girl, but she thinks she's a tiny pup and will happily settle in for a long movie marathon by your side. When she isn't busy being your personal weighted blanket, she's an outdoor enthusiast. She's a fetch fanatic, though she's still mastering the art of "the drop" and is currently in the "keep-away" phase of the game!

Ideal Home

Sioux needs a family that understands she's a bit of a "homebody" who takes a little extra time to warm up to strangers. Because of her size and strength, she'll do best in a home without cats.

Sioux is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Sioux is a work in progress and is looking for a leader who can help her shine. She experiences some fear aggression when new people enter the home, so she needs a patient owner who is committed to working on her socialization. She is kennel trained and dog-door trained, making her an easy addition to a structured home. She is dog-friendly and enjoys having canine company. Once she's comfortable, she is wonderful with people of all ages.
