Daisy is bringing all the happy-go-lucky energy we know and love from yellow labs! She's a total goofball, and her zoomies are guaranteed to make you laugh. Watch her run with her little booty tucked like she's in four-wheel drive! Daisy is also a bit of a dancer, often twisting and wiggling on the floor, which we're sure is just her way of expressing her joy. She's a big fan of toys, especially donuts (sprinkles preferred, of course!).
Daisy is a sweet girl with an overflowing excitement for life. She knows that toys, affection, and yummy treats are the keys to happiness. She's incredibly loyal and bonds deeply with her favorite people. Kids are definitely her jam! She's been great with children of all ages, tolerating their playful energy and chaos. She even joined in on gymnastics, showing off her best "rollover" for a perfect score! Daisy takes treats gently and loves big bear hugs from kids. While she adores children, she's a big girl, so kids aged 4 and up would be the best fit.
Daisy enjoys playing with other dogs but takes a moment to warm up. She could do well with a relaxed male dog sibling, or she'd be just as happy being the one and only canine in the home. She handled a hissing cat with ease but was a bit too excited and wanted to chase, so cats are not recommended for Daisy.
She's currently working on her leash skills but is a fast learner, especially with treats! She already knows how to sit. Daisy sometimes likes to "sing" when she's excited, so a home where she can express herself without disturbing the neighbors would be ideal. Her pure joy and blissful outlook on life make her a wonderful companion, and she's sure to be a cherished family dog.

Daisy would thrive in a home that can appreciate her boundless energy and joyful spirit. She needs a family with children aged 4 and up. No cats for this girl!
Ongoing Health
Daisy is up to date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccine with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, and a heartworm test. She is microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Daisy is working on her leash skills but is eager to learn with treats. She already knows how to sit. She occasionally "sings" when excited, so a home that can accommodate this would be best.

Transportation
Daisy is currently located in Texas. Our rescue provides transport across the US via USDA-licensed vehicles with 24/7 care. Transport is available to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT). There is an additional $87 surcharge for transport due to rising fuel costs. Local adoptions within Texas must be picked up from Friendswood, Tx.
