This cutie is Thunder! He's about 10 months old and weighs around 40 pounds. We suspect he might be a Pit Bull or Lab Retriever mix, but with rescue pups, it's always a fun mystery! What's not a mystery is how adorable he is, and how much he needs a loving home. He's a social butterfly who loves everyone he meets, is fantastic at fetch, and is an expert snuggler. Thunder lives happily with three cats, knows basic commands like "sit" and "wait," is crate and potty trained, and has been an absolute joy in his foster home. He'd love a yard to play and explore in, and of course, plenty of sunshine for his favorite sunbathing sessions.

Training & Support
Thunder is a young pup and will need a family committed to continued training, socialization, and the patience that puppyhood requires. Consistent routine, structure, boundaries, and positive social experiences are key to raising a confident, well-rounded adult dog. We do require adopters to continue crate training upon arrival home, as it supports potty training, energy management, and long-term success.

Thunder is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
