Nessie

Nessie is a big, beautiful, friendly, and engaging 1-year-old girl who currently weighs 80 pounds and is expected to grow a little more. We believe she is a Poodle and Great Pyrenees mix. Nessie had to get a super short haircut after her rescue due to mats, but her sweet personality shines through! She gets along famously with everyone, including adults, children, other dogs, and even cats. Nessie has entered the Paws in Prison program, where she will spend 8 weeks polishing up her manners and learning to be the best girl she can be. We'd love to have a home ready for her when she graduates, and we think she's going to bound through her training and steal everyone's heart along the way.

Training & Support

Nessie is currently participating in the Paws in Prison program to further develop her manners and training. She is expected to graduate with excellent new skills.

Transportation

Nessie is located in Arkansas and can be adopted locally. She can also be transported to the New England area. If adopted in New England, adopters will need to pick up or arrange for a trusted friend or family member to pick her up on a Saturday in PA, NJ, or CT. Residents of other states may adopt as well, as long as they can meet our transporter along their route.
