Liko

Liko's journey started with hardship, but her spirit shines through! She is a nearly two-year-old dog who, as a tiny puppy, endured a traumatic experience of being set aside to die with her family. Thankfully, she was rescued and has since learned to trust and love. After a period in a home, Liko is now seeking a new family to call her own. She is a truly wonderful dog who, despite her past, is eager to find her forever home.

Ideal Home

Liko would do best as the only dog in her home, as she thrives when she can dedicate her affections to her family without having to share. She is good with cats and would likely do best with older children who can understand and respect her need for personal space. She truly shines when she has structure, activity, and people she can trust.

Ongoing Health

Liko has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Liko is crate trained, potty trained, and exceptionally smart. She knows commands like sit, stay, down, and place. She walks beautifully on a leash and is always eager to learn new things. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people, once she trusts you, she is a devoted best friend.

Transporation

Liko is currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and is available for transport to a number of locations within the continental United States. We are unable to adopt to residents of Massachusetts at this time.
