Blitzen - URGENT - NEEDS MEDICAL CARE

Blitzen is a 12-week-old German Shepherd puppy who is urgently in need of a loving home and medical care. She has a fractured tibia that is causing her pain and puts her at risk of euthanasia due to shelter overcrowding. Blitzen arrived at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter on May 20, 2026, and is ready for her second chance.

Ideal Home

Blitzen needs a quiet and safe home where she can receive the veterinary attention she requires to heal.

Ongoing Health

Blitzen has a fractured tibia and will need ongoing medical care and a period of recovery.

Training & Support

As a young puppy, Blitzen will benefit from continued socialization and positive reinforcement training once she is feeling better.

Transporation
