Tiana

Tiana, known as Hazel in her foster home, is a sweet and smart girl who has made great progress! She walks nicely on a leash, especially when it's attached to the front hook of her harness. Hazel enjoys sniffing the world around her during walks and will happily get back on track with a gentle reminder. She's also mastered the important skill of bringing her leash when she needs to go outside, provided it's within reach! When the weather is chilly, she prefers her walks to be short and sweet.

Hazel is a quick learner and knows several basic commands, including sit, down, paw, other paw, and stay. She also understands "go to your house," which she uses to go into her crate for bedtime or when she needs to be alone. While she will respect boundaries if she isn't allowed on the couch, Hazel absolutely loves to cuddle up next to her people and has even slept soundly on the bed through the night. She's also a wonderful travel companion, doing very well on car rides. She may need a little assistance getting in and out of taller vehicles, but she's a seasoned traveler, having enjoyed a long car trip out of state where she was incredibly well-behaved, settling in to sleep peacefully for most of the journey.

Training & Support

Hazel has learned basic commands and is house-trained to her crate. She enjoys car rides and leash walks. She loves to cuddle and sleep on the bed.
