JUSTIN

Justin is a gentle, mature dog who came to us in early April with scratches and wounds on his face. Despite his past, he remains a sweet and affectionate soul. He loves going for walks and is a great leash walker. While he's not the most toy-motivated, he's very food-motivated and knows how to "sit," "down," and "paw" for a treat! Justin has shown no reactivity towards other animals, bikes, or people and has even greeted other dogs nicely through the fence. He's also an excellent car rider and enjoys a good snuggle.

Ideal Home

Justin would thrive in a home where he can continue to be a calm and affectionate companion.

Ongoing Health

Justin has chronic mild to moderate ear infections that require ongoing care. This includes routine cleanings, veterinary monitoring, and other treatments as needed.

Training & Support

Justin is already a great leash walker and knows several basic commands. He is displaying some frustration barking in his kennel when people approach, which suggests he would benefit from a home environment with less confinement and more positive reinforcement.
