Keri is a sweet, well-mannered, and incredibly lazy girl who originally came to us from Kuwait in 2019. She had a tough start but was rescued and eventually made her way to us. Adopted in 2020, Keri recently lost her home through no fault of her own and is now looking for her forever person. While she enjoys a good nap, Keri needs a moderately lazy owner who can help her shed some extra pounds through daily walks and mindful feeding. She's generally good with dogs her own size but isn't fond of yappy little dogs and would be just as happy without canine company. She is also not a cat person. Keri is a devoted companion who thrives when she's the center of her person's world, making her the perfect "ride or die" for someone seeking a loyal, quiet friend to share life's less energetic moments with. If you're a social hermit ready to give your heart to a loving, true-crime-watching partner, Keri might be your perfect match!
Ideal Home
Keri would love a home with a moderately lazy owner who can ensure she gets a walk or two a day and is not overfed. She is best suited for a home that understands her need for a devoted, one-on-one relationship and doesn't have a lot of yippy little dogs or cats.
Ongoing Health
Keri is significantly overweight, and while part of this is due to a thyroid condition, it's also a result of overfeeding and under-exercising.
Training & Support
Keri is exceedingly well-mannered and knows many commands. Her main need is for her adopter to be responsible with her feeding and exercise to help her reach her ideal weight of around 45 pounds.
