Scoobie and Brownie - Bonded Pair

Meet Scoobie and Brownie, the dynamic duo searching for a forever home together! Scoobie is a 9-year-old terrier mix, and Brownie is a 6-year-old Australian Shepherd mix. These bonded brothers have found themselves in our care due to unfortunate life circumstances, and they find great comfort in each other. They have been together since Brownie was a puppy and have grown very attached. While we usually try to find dogs homes separately, we strongly feel Scoobie and Brownie need to stay together.

These boys are typically very relaxed. Scoobie, the senior, is content to snooze most of the day. Brownie has a bit more energy but always stays close to Scoobie, even during playtime. Brownie tends to worry over Scoobie and wants to keep an eye on him at all times. This sweet bond is why we can't bear to separate them.

Ideal Home

Scoobie and Brownie have been around other dogs and children and did well. We are not sure how they would do with cats. We recommend a meet and greet with any children in the home prior to adoption to ensure a good fit.

Ongoing Health

As older dogs, routine vet care will be essential to keep them healthy. Scoobie is starting to lose some teeth, and a dental cleaning will likely be needed in the near future. They have only ever eaten wet food before, and we are working on transitioning them to kibble, but this is a work in progress.

Training & Support

These two are used to being spoiled and will likely demand continued pampering. Patience will be key as they adjust to a new routine and food.
