Ideal Home

Gaia would love a home where she can relax and be included in family life. She has done well with children as young as 7, and would likely do well with another calm, respectful dog who understands her need for peaceful coexistence. She has also shown herself to be respectful of cats.

Gaia June is believed to be a Lab/Pittie mix, approximately 3 years old and weighing 76 lbs. As with any rescue, breed and age cannot be guaranteed.

Training & Support

Gaia is crate trained, has wonderful house manners, and walks beautifully on a leash. She bonds deeply with her people, and may quietly wait by doors when her people leave, hoping for their return. She is a medium-to-low energy dog who would thrive with a comfy couch, soft voices, love, a few walks, and quality time with her people.

Transportation

We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
