Meet Loki! This charming 3-year-old Terrier mix, weighing in at about 11 pounds, is on the hunt for his forever home. With his distinctive wire-haired coat and a heart full of loyalty, Loki is the definition of a best friend. He's a calm and well-mannered boy who thrives on companionship, enjoying car rides and simply being by your side. Loki's journey began when he was found wandering near a school in Saltillo, Mexico. After a kind individual took him to a vet, he ended up waiting for his forever family. Now, he's healthy, safe, and ready to shower his new family with affection.
Ideal Home
Loki would do best in a home with a fenced backyard. He's looking for an active family that enjoys the outdoors and has a genuine intention to rescue and provide extensive patience and understanding for a street-smart pup. He needs a home with an open conscience regarding the needs of rescued animals and a willingness to provide protection and education. Ideally, his new family will have experience with dog behavior and training or be prepared to hire a trainer. A high tolerance and patience for a rescued pup is a must.
Ongoing Health
Loki has received a comprehensive health protocol, including being spayed/neutered, vaccinated for DHPPI and rabies, treated for Bordetella, dewormed, and microchipped. He has also tested negative for heartworm and is on monthly preventive protection with Nexgard Spectra. He comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet. Please note that rescued dogs may have experienced trauma and require an adjustment period.
Training & Support
Loki is not house-trained. It's important to understand that rescued pets often require time to adapt and build trust. Patience, a loving environment, and establishing a routine will be key to helping Loki feel secure and strengthening your bond.

Transporation
Loki is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. He is available for transport to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. A one-time transport fee of $400 USD covers door-to-door delivery, which includes a USDA health certificate, transport contract, and real-time updates during the journey.
