Jersey

Jersey is an 8-year-old, 40-pound, neutered male Jack Russell Terrier mix who came to us when his elderly owner had to move into a nursing home. He's a well-behaved boy who walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car, and is already crate trained and house trained. He also knows his basic commands! Jersey is an energetic dog who would love a fenced yard to run and play in. He gets along with laid-back dogs and non-reactive cats, and could be a wonderful companion for an older child.

Ideal Home

Jersey would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can safely expend his energy. He would do best in a home with laid-back dogs and non-reactive cats. He could also live with older children.

Ongoing Health

Jersey is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. No specific health concerns were noted.

Training & Support

Jersey is house trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands. He is an energetic boy and would benefit from continued enrichment and exercise.
