Chance

Chance is a 4-year-old neutered and vaccinated Staffie mix with a gentle and soulful demeanor. He was rescued from an overcrowded Houston shelter after being abandoned in an apartment. Chance has an "old soul" that you can see in his eyes and is the perfect blend of sweet, goofy, and loving. He always looks like he's wearing a big smile and is ready to brighten your day. He's incredibly affectionate, loves car rides, and learns routines quickly, even playfully grunting to remind you when you're running late.

Ideal Home

Chance would thrive in a home with a relaxed, predictable routine. He'd do best with either a semi-active family with older kids and another dog his size, or as the beloved only dog. Because of his strong prey drive, cats will not be a good fit for Chance.

Chance is up-to-date on vaccinations and is neutered.

Training & Support

Chance is fully house trained and sleeps through the night. He can stay home alone without trouble and is happy to nap in open crates or anywhere comfy. He enjoys daily walks but is also content lounging or cuddling. While he can be a little stubborn when he spots something interesting like squirrels, he's highly motivated by treats, making him a great candidate for continued training.
