Peppa is a resilient young female terrier mix who was found wandering alone. She's eager to find a loving home where she can grow, explore, and be cherished.

Ongoing Health

Peppa has been diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis in her right stifle (knee), with very decreased range of motion. Orthopedic x-rays show the joint surface with the patella has osteoarthritis, with a history of trauma from an articular fracture of the distal femur. This has healed with a mild misalignment of the distal fragment, resulting in an osteophyte. Joint supplements are important for maintaining muscle mass and weight control.

Training & Support

Peppa requires leashed walks with a restriction on high-energy and high-impact exercise. It's important to manage her activity level to protect her knee.
