Gunner is more than just a handsome face; he's an incredibly smart and playful companion who loves to keep both his body and brain engaged. He thrives with puzzle toys, treat games, and squeaky toys, and even turns his food bowl into a fun challenge.
Gunner arrived with us after a long wait at a municipal shelter. Despite his good looks, he was somehow overlooked. Since joining us, he's settled in beautifully and shown us what a wonderful companion he can be. He enjoys playing with other dogs and has formed a sweet friendship with Albus, even playing through their kennel doors. Gunner walks well on a leash with a confident handler, rides nicely in the car, knows basic commands, and is eager to learn more. At around four years old, he has a great balance of youthful energy for adventures and a calmer demeanor than a puppy.
