Palomo

Palomo is a sweet and perfect boy who weighs 53 lbs. He never barks, isn't fearful of anything, and doesn't jump on people or furniture. Palomo is a dream on leash, walking nicely without pulling or lagging behind. He's also done well when crated for a couple of hours and has been left to roam the house unsupervised for extended periods without any issues. He sleeps quietly through the night on a pillow next to his foster's bed and has had no accidents indoors. Palomo loves water and is good with puppies and children. He is mostly submissive with other dogs. While he used to sleep on the floor, he now prefers to snuggle on the bed or couch, especially when left alone. Palomo can be a picky eater and prefers his food mixed with wet puppy food, but he has been eating dry Pedigree. He rarely poops, and while he doesn't have accidents in the house, he marks frequently on walks and in the yard. This may be due to being neutered recently. Palomo bonds very quickly and wants to be by his person's side at all times. He did dig out of the yard once when left alone, so a secure fence is important.

Ideal Home

Palomo would thrive in a home where he can be close to his people. A home with a secure yard is essential, as he has a history of digging out.

Ongoing Health

Palomo was recently neutered. He is not a big eater and can be picky about his food.
