River is a lively six-and-a-half-year-old American Pitbull Terrier mix with a beautiful golden coat and soft white accents. She's a medium-sized girl, weighing around 50 pounds, and has an affectionate spirit that's ready for adventure! River adores human connection and bonds closely with her favorite people, especially men. She's happiest when she can curl up under the covers, enjoying warmth and companionship after a fun-filled day.
Ideal Home
River thrives on activity and would love a family who enjoys running, hiking, swimming, or long walks. She needs a home where she can be the only pet, as she shows strong reactivity towards other animals, particularly cats and small dogs. Due to a past incident involving a cat, a pet-free home is essential. She would also do best in a home with teenagers or adults, as she may not tolerate young children who are loud, grabby, or unpredictable.

River has occasional skin sensitivity that is well managed with vitamins.
Training & Support
River has completed formal obedience training and knows commands such as sit, lay down, wait, and kennel up. She is also house-trained and comfortable being left alone for short periods. River may feel uneasy around loud noises like drills or hair dryers, but with understanding and support, she settles beautifully. She would benefit from an experienced pet parent who understands energetic dogs and can continue providing structure, guidance, and clear boundaries.
