Meet Norman!

Norman is a 4.5-year-old Labrador Retriever/American Pitbull Terrier mix who weighs 73 pounds. He's a big boy with a heart to match, and his adorable tortilla chip-shaped ears are just one of his many charming features. Norman is a gentle and goofy soul who loves to snuggle, relax on comfy dog beds, and spend quality time with his people. He's a classic couch potato with a playful side, often rolling onto his back for a belly rub and an adorable grin. Walks, training games, and ear scratches are some of his favorite things. He thrives with love and structure, and while his routine can be flexible, he's happiest when he has someone to nap near and a bit of mental stimulation each day.

Ideal Home

Norman would do best in a calm, structured environment with a secure, fenced yard. He needs a home without small children. He has shown reactivity in certain situations and needs careful introductions to new people and dogs.

Norman is crate trained, house-trained, and knows commands such as "sit," "stay," "down," and "place." He is currently working on "leave it." While he has had a bite incident, it was described as an accident in a specific circumstance.
